The Canadian Association of Labour Media (CALM) is a communications cooperative that represents nearly 200 labour unions across Canada.

Every year, the CALM awards recognize excellence in union publications and productions in a variety of categories and classes. Entries are judged by independent experts and awarded at the annual CALM conference.

This year, in its fight against Staffless Libraries, TPLWU won two major categories: Best Photo and Best Short Video

Happy Emancipation Day from the Ontario NDP Black Caucus and all New Democrats!

On this day, and every day, let’s renew our commitment to building a better province by stamping out anti-Black racism in our communities & in our systems.

Today, we celebrate Emancipation Day, which marks the legal abolition of slavery in Canada on August 1, 1834
