We have some exciting news!  On September 10th, from 7:00 – 8:30 PM (EDT), the Local is hosting a Zoom webinar with three of Canada’s most prolific and well-known activists.  They will be sharing tips and best practices about how they, despite the challenges and setbacks presented by COVID, have successfully organized and mobilized their supporters. This event is a must-see for anyone interested in activism and social justice.  The event is free and open to the public, so please share it widely.  To register, go to Local4948.org/Online.

I just signed this petition to call for @YCDSB to reverse their decision to lay off library workers. Support students, parents and staff and bring library workers back!
