Office Hours:Thank you to all those library workers and members of the public who came out to support the Local 4948 Union Ice Cream Truck last week! All proceeds went to support the United Way of Greater Toronto. A huge shout out the library worker volunteers who assisted at the stop.
Today is #EqualPayDay. Women still earn 32% less than men. The gap is even larger for Black women, Indigenous women, Arab women and women w disabilities.
We need strong public investment in community services to narrow the gap & increase women's economic liberation.
