Shelfie Contest (2023) - It's Back!

It’s that time of year again!

In celebration of Ontario Public Library Week, we’re pleased to announce the 2023 TPLWU Shelfie Contest!

🎉 Libraries For Living

Prizes include 3rd Generation AirPods, books and Union Swag!

The Libraries for Living contest begins on Monday, October 16th and wraps up on Sunday, October 22nd. Please send submissions to [email protected].

To enter, simply record yourself at work (off duty, of course) and touch on the following:

  1. First Name: Brandon
  2. Work Position: Local President
  3. Interesting Job Fact: A unique tidbit or story about your role that the public might not know.
  4. Love for the Job: What makes your work at the library special to you?
  5. Union’s Role: What or how does the union make your work better? Have an example?
  6. Suggestion (Optional): And optionally, a suggestion on how we can make the workplace better.

    “Libraries For Living” Shelfie Contest – 2023

    No purchase required.  Contest begins on October 16th, 2023 at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends on October 22, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. ET. There are a total of 8 prizes available to be won consisting of: (i) Apple AirPods (3rd Generation) (approximate retail value (APR $229); (ii) Between the Lines Book (APR $40) x2; (iii) Union Swag x5 (APR $30). Skill testing question required.  Open to Local 4948 members in good standing, who are age of majority in their province or territory of residence at time of entry.  Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received before contest closes.  Limit 1 unique entry per member per day.
